A YOPmail alternative with an inbox only you can open

YOPmail is one of the oldest disposable email sites, and it is quick: type any name, add @yopmail.com, and the inbox is there. The catch is in the same sentence. YOPmail says its inboxes are not password protected, so anyone who types the same name can read the same emails.

Why an invented name is easy to guess

People pick names they can remember: their own name, a pet, a word plus a year. Other people pick the same ones. On a site where the name is the only key, two people who choose “anna1990” share one inbox, and so does anyone who tries it out of curiosity.

On TempDog you cannot pick the name. Each address is random and is never handed to anyone else after it expires.

How long your emails stay

YOPmail keeps messages for 8 days. On TempDog you choose: 5 minutes for a single code, a few days for a delivery, up to 30 days for a trial. You can change it while the address is open, and Save access gives you a key to reopen the same inbox on another device.

What you give up by switching

We would rather tell you now:

• Inventing an address on the spot. With YOPmail you can type a new address into a form without opening any site. With TempDog you open the page first and copy the address.
• Writing back. YOPmail lets you write to other YOPmail addresses and reply to messages. TempDog only receives email.
